About Us
Aikido-Dojo Jiyukan Karlsruhe e.V. is a small club that practices Aikido in the style of Seigo Yamaguchi. Aikido is a modern Japanese martial art developed by Morihei Ueshiba, aimed at responding to an attack by redirecting the attacker's energy. The dojo emphasizes the art of peace, striving to fill the gaps of peace, harmony, and reconciliation in the world. The dojo teaches Aikido as a means to achieve a calm mastery of one's own spirit.
