TWIN‑Taekwondo is an independent martial arts system founded by the twin brothers Georg and Gerhard Maier, who have trained continuously since the early 1970s under the renowned Grandmaster Kwon Jae‑hwa. After decades of study, teaching, and pioneering work in Germany’s Blackbelt Centers, they developed their own modernized approach to traditional Taekwondo. Their system emphasizes forms, breaking techniques, non‑contact sparring, one‑step fighting, self‑defense, and specialized stick work, all taught without affiliation to external federations. With numerous schools across Germany and beyond, TWIN‑Taekwondo promotes discipline, awareness, and personal growth through daily training, seminars, and international camps.
