Fechterring Nurnberg e.V.

The Fechterring Nürnberg, established in 1928, is Nuremberg's largest and oldest fencing club. They specialize in sabre fencing, the most dynamic and spectacular discipline of sports fencing. As an independent club, they are a center for junior elite sport of the German Fencing Association, a carrier of the state performance center sabre of the Bavarian Fencing Federation, and a prize winner of the 'Green Ribbon for exemplary talent promotion in clubs'. The club is a home for fencers of all age groups, from Bambinis to veterans, from beginners to recreational athletes, and ultimately to their flagship, competitive sports. Fencing is their passion.
