Schildwache Potsdam e.V.

Schildwache Potsdam, founded in 2017, is dedicated to the practice and reconstruction of historical martial arts, particularly focusing on the Bolognese tradition of fencing. The dojo teaches historical fencing based on the writings of medieval and Renaissance masters such as Achille Marozzo, Giovanni dall’Agocchie, and Fiore dei Liberi. These historically documented martial arts were primarily used in civilian contexts, such as judicial duels, combining historical accuracy with high-level sporting ambition.
