Aiki Jujitsu e.V. offers traditional Japanese martial arts in Euskirchen, focusing on Aikido and Aiki Jujitsu since 2004. Aiki Jujitsu is an ancient art that emphasizes defense and inner harmony rather than direct attack, rooted in the samurai traditions. Aikido, developed in the mid-20th century by O'Sensei Morihei Ueshiba, includes unarmed defense techniques, classical sword fighting (Aiki-Ken), and staff techniques (Aiki-Jo). Additionally, Bukido is a Japanese weapon-based martial art that encompasses various forms of combat including sword, staff, and knife techniques.
