Karate Matsubayashi Shorin Ryu

Our dojo has been active since March 1983 as a department of SV Blau-Weiss Concordia Viersen. We currently have about 100 members aged between 6 and 80 years. The training is led by licensed instructors, focusing on the Matsubayashi-Ryu style and affiliated with the World Matsubayashi-Ryu Karate-Do Association (WMKA). We also teach traditional weapon training, including Bo, Sai, Tonfa, and Kama. Emphasizing self-defense, our training is designed to improve flexibility, endurance, strength, and speed, while also enhancing concentration and coordination. Most importantly, the enjoyment of karate is our primary goal.
