About Us
Budokan Gerlingen e.V. is a martial arts club that offers Judo, Aikido, and Karate all under one roof. Established on May 16, 1972, the club has expanded its sports offerings over the years. The Karate division was added in 1983, followed by the now-defunct Kickboxing in 1993, and the Aikido section was created in 1996. The name 'Budokan' refers to a training hall for martial arts, and the club emphasizes the importance of character development through martial arts practice.
