About Us
The dojo is the Kendo group of the 1. Sprendlinger Judoverein e.V. It was founded in 1973 and is one of the oldest in Germany. The group is led by Hiroyuki Kurosu-sensei (7th Dan Kendo) and trains under his leadership. The dojo teaches modern Japanese fencing, known as Kendo, which involves basic techniques and free sparring with a partner. The style emphasizes discipline and respect, which are deeply rooted in Japanese martial arts. The group is known for its success in national and international competitions, with many of its members achieving high rankings and awards.
