JKF Goju-Kai

The Goju-Kai Chemnitz is a Karate dojo in Chemnitz that has been teaching the official Goju-Ryu Karate style of the Japanese Karate Federation (JKF) GOJU-KAI for over 30 years. They have six training facilities in Chemnitz where they teach the original Japanese martial art. The dojo was founded in 1945 by Shozo Ujita and is named after the Japanese concept of 'Kenbukan', which translates to 'the house of the fist' or 'the way of the warrior'. The dojo teaches Karate as a sport, for self-defense, and as a fitness program for people of all ages. They are organized in several professional associations, including the German JKF Goju-Kai Federation, the World Takuji Federation, and the World Karate Federation.
