EWTO – European WingTsun Organization was founded in 1976 by Prof. Keith R. Kernspecht to spread and develop WingTsun in Europe. EWTO focuses on three main goals: advancing WingTsun technique and theory, uniting students and instructors across Europe, and representing WingTsun publicly. With a standardized grading and training system, EWTO ensures high-quality instruction through hundreds of seminars each year. Tens of thousands of students, including a strong percentage of women, train across Europe. The EWTO Trainer Academy in Heidelberg has educated most European instructors, while its publishing arm produces influential martial arts books and videos. EWTO continues to uphold authenticity, discipline, and technical excellence, supporting schools, trainers, and students worldwide.
