About Us

Tai-Chi Tuebingen offers traditional Tai Chi in the Yang style as part of community courses. The classes cater to both beginners and advanced students, focusing on curiosity and enjoyment in learning new movement forms. The curriculum consists of three pillars: Zhan Zhuang Chi Kung, which is a standing meditation and warm-up series that promotes joint mobility; the main part focuses on Tai Chi movements, emphasizing principles of fluidity, stability, and calmness; and concludes with a breathing meditation. The slow, flowing movements of Tai Chi aid in joint-friendly muscle development, improve posture, prevent muscle tension, enhance balance, and boost concentration through focused movements.
