Budokan Bochum e.V. is a martial arts academy founded on May 28, 1999, in Bochum, Germany. The dojo emphasizes the connection between karate and the health aspects of traditional Chinese medicine. It offers a broad spectrum of karate knowledge for children from the age of 4 to adults, promoting respect, attention, discipline, control, courage, and coordination. The dojo supports both recreational sports and competitive athletes, with many members becoming state, national, and European champions. Furthermore, Budokan Bochum hosts seminars on Shiatsu, a form of Japanese finger pressure massage, and features a sauna area with a small Japanese garden for relaxation after training. Visitors are encouraged to come and experience the diverse offerings of the dojo.
