Bonner Judo Club e.V.

Welcome to the oldest Judo Club in Bonn, established in 1955. We continue the tradition of Franz Karl Patzner and design our training based on his example. Our focus is on understanding and studying Judo techniques. We evaluate and improve their effectiveness in Randori (free practice) and Kata (a system of predefined movements where individual techniques such as the initiation of holds, throwing techniques, proper stance, position in space, and gaze direction are taught). We are not competition-oriented; here, it is about the shared joy of learning effective techniques.
