BSV 20 Mengede e.V. is a traditional boxing club in Dortmund with a history spanning decades. After many successful years, the club recently underwent a generational change in leadership, ensuring its future stability. The new executive board includes Rinat Karimov (Chairman), Klaus-D. Pesth (Vice Chairman), Arkadi Sanogrin (Managing Director), and Andreas Bernhardt (Treasurer), with Bulat Karimov as Head Coach and Horst Hessing as Sports Director and referee. The club emphasizes modern boxing training while honoring its long-standing traditions, offering structured sessions for athletes and fostering community spirit. BSV Mengede continues to stand for discipline, respect, and the motto “So boxt man heute” (“This is how we box today”).
