Judo-Club Essen-Steele 1951 e.V.

Judo-Club Essen-Steele is one of the oldest judo clubs in Essen, with more than 70 years of tradition and as a founding member of the NWJV. Training takes place in a family-friendly atmosphere on a 104 m² tatami, with programs for children, youth, and adults. All instructors teach voluntarily with dedication, focusing on both recreational and competitive judo. The club emphasizes inclusion, discipline, and respect, offering a solid foundation in motor skills and judo techniques. Judo here promotes fitness, coordination, concentration, and teamwork, while following the values of etiquette and safety.
