About Us
Associação Meia Lua Inteira is a capoeira group founded in 1990 by Mestre Birilo and his students, including Mestre Mula, in Recife, Pernambuco, Brazil. The group is led by Mestre Birilo and Mestre Mula, who also run several social projects for children from the favelas. They regularly travel to Europe to maintain contact with local groups and teachers, and they believe that capoeira is a global family that knows no borders.
