Kakushinkai Kampfkunstschule fur Mugai Ryu Iaido

The Kakushinkai Mugai Ryu Iaido Koblenz Dojo is a traditional Koryu (old preserved school) for the Samurai sword fighting art Mugai Ryu Iaido / Kenpō. It includes Iai/Iaijutsu – Kumitachi/Kenjutsu and Tameshigiri (cutting), as well as Meditation – Zen with the sword. In Japan, the style is classified as Koryū (classical Bujutsu discipline), which roughly translates to old school in German. The Dojo trains exclusively Meirin Mugai-Ryu Iaido / Kenpō, a challenging martial art in its own form, without offering other styles or types of martial arts. The Dojo is connected to the Meirinkan Mugai-Ryu Iaido in Tokyo, which is directly affiliated with the main Dojo (Honbu) in Tokyo, Japan. The Mugai Ryu Iaido style is a traditional form of Japanese sword fighting of the Samurai, established in 1693. It is not to be confused with the modern sport form of Kendo.
