Karateverein Budokan Magdeburg e.V.

The dojo, managed by the Karateverein Budokan Magdeburg e.V., is a place where people can practice traditional Shotokan Karate. The dojo is connected to the Japan Karate Association (Nihon karate kyōkai) and aims to follow the traditional way of karate, exploring and striving for spiritual and physical perfection. The dojo offers training for children, youth, and adults, with a focus on Shotokan Karate, which is a holistic, physical, and mental training that encompasses sport, combat sport, physical fitness training, and self-defense. The dojo also offers a health sport program for young and old, promoting physical activity and community engagement. The dojo is a member of the Japan Karate Association since 2020 and has friendly and partner organizations, including the JKA Shokukai, JKA Berlin, and Karateverband Sachsen-Anhalt.
