Shirasagi Dojo Athens

Shirasagi Dojo Athens teaches authentic Okinawa Shorinryu Shidokan Karatedo, a traditional style of Karate rooted in Okinawa and founded by Master Katsuya Miyahira. Since 2009, the dojo has focused on Karate as both self-defense and a lifelong path of self-development, emphasizing discipline, respect, and the philosophy of Budo – the Way of the Warrior. Training includes full-contact practice, physical conditioning, and techniques preserved from the classical Shuri-te tradition. Unlike modern sport Karate, Shirasagi Dojo approaches the art as a way of life, strengthening body and spirit in a safe, traditional environment. The school is a member of the Okinawa Shorinryu Karatedo Kyokai and the International Okinawa Shorinryu Shidokan Association.
