Ionikos Boxing Club

A.C. Ionikos Nikaias, founded on June 29, 1965, is a historic sports association based in Nikaia, Attica. It was created through the merger of Aris Athletic Football Club of Piraeus and the Athletic Union of Nikaia, continuing the legacy of the original Ionikos club of Asia Minor, first established in 1908 near Smyrna as Gymnastikos Syllogos Ionikos Astir Sokiwn. The club symbolizes the memory of the lost homelands of Ionia and has grown into a respected institution in Greek sports. Today, Ionikos Nikaias supports a wide range of athletic activities, including programs for athletes with disabilities (Ionikos Amea), and collaborates with national and international federations.
