About Us
Welcome to TCTKD's gentle Ohnwahan Taekwon-Do, aimed at senior citizens and other older adults looking to remain active and improve posture, circulation, and balance. Our sessions will appeal to those who are typically over the age of 50, and wish to remain active but do not or cannot engage in vigorous exercise. The lessons are relatively short (approx 40 minutes) and include physical Taekwon-Do (TKD) techniques, as well as meditation based on the five tenets of TKD at the end of the class to help you improve mental focus and relieve stress. We are currently running a short trial in partnership with local GP surgery referral units (Torentum), and St Andrews Church in Cleveleys.
