About Us

Shen Long Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese system of philosophical principles and physical exercises aimed at prolonging life through natural means, including martial arts. The school teaches various styles of Tai Chi, including Tai Chi for beginners, continuing Tai Chi, developing Tai Chi skills, and drop-in Tai Chi. Their classes cover mental and physical health, stress management, self-defence, and self-enlightenment. The school has experienced teachers, including Toni Amato and Pearl Wang, who are formal students of Grandmaster Wu Kuo Chung. Tai Chi has been scientifically shown to improve strength, flexibility, balance, endurance, and multiple ailments, including psychological well-being. The school offers free online taster courses and has a location at the Brighton Wellness Centre. Members of the school have reported improved energy levels and well-being after taking classes.
