Sensei Smith Karate

We are a family run martial arts school teaching a blended style based on Shotokan Karate and Sport Karate. Sensei Smith is a headteacher of a secondary school and therefore very equipped to support young people in learning. Most of our students come to us via word of mouth and we aim to develop high quality martial arts in a fun and safe environment. Sensei Smith has combined his expertise in Martial Arts and in children's education to form a highly effective approach to teaching martial arts. Just like in schools, the core aims for children's development in martial arts are confidence, honesty, resilience, focus, respect, perseverance, self-discipline, self-control and pro-social skills.
