Ojika NI Dojo

Ojika NI Kendo Dojo is a Belfast-based martial arts club dedicated to the practice of Japanese sword arts. Established in 2012 by Dojo Leader John Kelso (4th Dan Kendo) and registered with the British Kendo Association, the dojo offers training in Kendo, Iaido, and Jodo. It has built a strong community of practitioners, many holding Dan ranks, and is one of the few clubs in the UK to successfully introduce Children’s Kendo as a core part of its programme. With a focus on discipline, respect, and personal development, Ojika NI provides a welcoming environment for beginners and experienced martial artists alike to explore traditional Japanese swordsmanship.
