About Us
The Iron Door Collective is a fencing club based in Exeter that specializes in the study and practice of historical European martial arts (HEMA). They aim to recreate the authentic tactics and strategies of the past based on early 15th century manuscripts. The club trains in various styles including Italian longsword, one-handed sword, sword and buckler, dagger and staff weapons, as well as unarmed combat.
