Unity Jiu-Jitsu

Jiu Jitsu was designed and developed so that a smaller, weaker person can defend his or herself against, or even defeat, a larger and stronger opponent. So regardless of age, size, gender or physical limitation, any person can utilise the techniques and principals of jiu jitsu, and reap the benefits of its practice.

What was originally an aspirational idea between two friends (Luke Spencer and Shaun Christie) has resulted in the creation of one of the leading Jiu Jitsu Academies in Essex.

The Foundations of Unity are built on our ethos of an open arms friendly approach to submission grappling. Our mission is to create a community and unite people via our love for Jiu Jitsu.

We provide classes that cover all levels of ability from adults.
