Schola Gladiatoria

Learn Historical European Martial Arts (HEMA) at one of the UK's oldest and most well known clubs, Schola Gladiatoria. We welcome everyone over-18 years old, of all backgrounds. Weekly classes in West London and sparring in Woking. We accommodate beginners as well as experienced fencers and martial artists. Historical Martial Arts Systems taught directly from historical combat manuals and treatises, using real techniques with both real weapons and accurate simulators of them. We specialise in late-medieval two-handed sword (longsword), dagger, spear, Elizabethan backsword, sword and buckler, Victorian sabre, foil/smallsword and bayonet. Over the last 20 years many of our members have competed internationally and we've won lots of competition titles.
