About Us
Tiger Taekwondo is a family-run club that welcomes members of all ages. They run friendly sessions for both men and women who want to learn a martial art, get fit and learn self-defense. The club teaches traditional aspects of World Taekwondo Federation (W.T.F.) taekwondo, an ancient martial art with a rich history. They focus on patterns, poomsae, to learn offensive and defensive techniques, as well as emphasizing fitness and discipline. The club also teaches self-defense techniques for dealing with attackers, including grabs, holds, strikes and blows. They strive to instill a sense of discipline and a code of ethics in their students, promoting physical fitness, positive social interaction and personal development.
