IKK Folkestone Karate and Martial Arts Club

The International Karate Kyokushinkaikan (IKK) is a leading Kyokushin Karate and Martial Arts Organisation in the UK, established in 1996 by Shihan Paul Sarginson. The IKK prides itself on delivering the highest standard of karate and martial arts instruction, providing training and experience for students of all ages and abilities. The organisation supports both students and clubs, encouraging them to reach their goals, and offers various events such as knockdown tournaments, clicker tournaments, kata competitions, and brown and black belt courses. The classes are structured following a Kyokushin grading syllabus and incorporate all aspects of Karate and Martial Arts, including self-defence, kata, karate techniques, fitness, and stamina. The IKK teaches a variety of styles, primarily focusing on Kyokushin Karate, which is a full-contact karate style that originated in Japan in the 1950s.
