Shinken Dojo Karate Academy

Shinken Dojo Karate Academy is a karate club that has been teaching in East Hull for over 30 years and opened a second club in Welton in early 2022, followed by a third club in Willerby in early 2023. Karate, a popular Japanese martial art originally developed on the islands of Okinawa, can be practiced as an art, self-defense, or as a combat sport, all of which are taught at the dojo. The club has produced multiple English and British medallists and has had numerous athletes compete for the England National Karate Team at European and World Championships.
