Simon Coope Karate School

Simon Coope Karate School (SCKS) is a traditional Wado-Ryu karate academy founded in 2004 by Sensei Simon Coope. Based across multiple Leicestershire locations, the school teaches karate with passion and integrity, offering classes for families, children, and adults. SCKS is also one of Britain’s top competition clubs, with members representing England internationally and achieving national titles. While competition success is strong, the core focus remains on high-quality traditional Wado-Ryu training, discipline, and life skills. Over 200 students have earned black belts, and the school maintains global connections, giving students opportunities to train with leading instructors in Japan and worldwide.
