Mersey Budo Ju Jitsu Academy

The Mersey Budo Ju Jitsu Academy is a Liverpool martial arts club that teaches traditional Japanese Ju Jitsu, the combat system of the Samurai warriors and the martial art of self-defense. Ju Jitsu is the ancient system from which modern martial arts like Judo, Karate, and MMA have developed. It includes blocks, punches, kicks, restraints, throws, and groundwork, making it an ideal combination of self-defense and fitness training. The academy is a member of the British Budo Federation and emphasizes the importance of self-defense, mental calm, courtesy, and respect in training. They also offer a yearly Emergency First Aid training course and various master class sessions conducted by high-ranking instructors.
