Rising Sun Aikido

Welcome to the Rising Sun Aikido club website. Rising Sun Aikido is a traditional Ueshiba-style martial art and self-defence club based in Weston-super-Mare, North Somerset, England. The club has over 100 members of all ages and abilities. It holds two adult aikido training sessions per week and also runs a Saturday morning junior aikido club known as Rising Stars Aikido for children aged 5 to 12, and Aikido Comets for teenagers aged 12-18. The club works closely with local schools and the community, participating in various events. Aikido is a non-competitive martial art suitable for all ages, sexes, and abilities, focusing on building confidence, fitness, friendships, and skills.
