About Us

Lishi is Action Dao - Daoist exercise for self defence, fitness and health. Learn self discipline and improvement via tai chi, yoga, kung fu, wu shu, qi gung and weapons.

Lishi is an ancient and embodied traditional Daoist art, handed down from master to master in person-to-person training. We use individual, partner and group exercises to learn about ourselves and develop our potential. The only limit is your own creativity!

To get the most from Lishi, we need to build upon skills and knowledge from previous lessons, so most of our classes are not on a "drop-in" basis. For this reason we only take on beginners three times a year, January, Easter and September.
