About Us
Welcome to the Mei Jyu Kan dojo website. We practice Aikikai style Aikido and are a member of the British Birankai. Aikido lessons are available three nights per week for adults at three locations: Albrighton, Wolverhampton, and Shifnal. Separate children's Aikido classes are held twice a week at Albrighton and Wolverhampton. Traditional Aikido style grades are recognized by Aikikai Hombu Dojo through the British Birankai. Aikido is a Japanese martial art that teaches self-defense and promotes fitness. Enjoy the site and feel free to contact us if you have any questions.
