Keele University KDS (Karate-Do Shotokai)

Karate Do Shotokai (KDS) is a martial arts organisation that practices and teaches Orthodox Shotokan Karate as taught by Mitsusuke Harada Sensei MBE. They remain true to the original teachings of Karate-do as Funakoshi O’Sensei had wished, with the aim of learning the martial art of karate that is effective in a real situation. They offer training sessions for adults, which are suitable for both students and members of the general public, and cater for experienced practitioners as well as complete beginners. The club teaches karate as taught by Mitsusuke Harada Sensei MBE, a direct student of Gichin Funakoshi O’Sensei.
