About Us
The Rising Sun Karate Academy teaches traditional Shotokan Karate under the instruction of Sensei Jamie Sims, 3rd dan black belt. It welcomes karatekas of all ages and ability levels, aiming to exercise both body and mind, gain confidence, and teach discipline, self-defense, and confidence. The academy's style focuses on traditional Shotokan Karate, and it is affiliated with the KUGB, the UK's biggest and most established single style association.
