About Us
The Takagashira Dojo is a martial arts training center that teaches Aikido, a Japanese martial art. It was founded on September 3rd, 2008, by Mike Haft Sensei in Hawkshead and has since relocated to different venues in Cumbria. The dojo is part of Aikido Yuishinkai UK, a organization that follows the teachings of Koretoshi Maruyama Sensei. The Takagashira Dojo offers training in Aikido, led by Mike Haft Sensei, a 5th Dan instructor.
