About Us
Mitsuru Karate is a club that teaches Wado Ryu Karate, a Japanese martial art founded in 1934 by Grandmaster Hironori Otsuka. The style of Karate practised by the club is fast fighting and scientific, with a strong emphasis on functional self defence and competitive Karate. The club is family based, allowing parents to train alongside their children, and is led by Mark Holding, a 7th Dan and former British Champion. Karate is taught in a productive and enjoyable environment by fully qualified and experienced instructors.
