Alex “The Iron Wolf” Cortez is a relentless lightweight contender known for his explosive striking and unbreakable endurance. Born in Rio de Janeiro and raised in Miami, Cortez grew up in a rough neighborhood where fighting was a way to survive. He began training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu at age 9 under his uncle, a black belt, and later added Muay Thai and boxing to his arsenal.

After dominating the Florida amateur scene, Cortez turned pro at 21 and quickly built a reputation for finishing fights in spectacular fashion. His aggressive yet calculated style—pressuring opponents with precise leg kicks and heavy counterpunches—earned him the nickname “The Iron Wolf.”

Outside the cage, Cortez is known for his discipline and charity work, mentoring underprivileged youth through self-defense programs. His goal: to become lightweight world champion and prove that loyalty and hard work can overcome any odds.
